The FBI Wanted programme explained
The FBI's broader fugitive programme beyond the Ten Most Wanted, organised into categories: fugitives, violent criminals, sexual offenders, terrorists, cybercriminals, kidnappings, crimes against children and more.
Categories
The FBI groups its wanted persons into several parallel programmes: Fugitives, Violent Crimes Most Wanted, Seeking Information, Kidnappings and Missing Persons, Crimes Against Children, Cyber's Most Wanted, Domestic Terrorism, International Terrorism, ECAP (unidentified victims) and others.
Cooperation with Interpol
For subjects believed to be outside the United States, the FBI commonly requests an Interpol Red Notice in parallel, so the subject appears on both lists.
Rewards
Reward amounts vary by case. Top-level subjects, particularly in terrorism and cybercrime, can attract State Department rewards in excess of $10 million.
