Yellow Notice · INTERPOL

What is an Interpol Yellow Notice?

A global police request to help locate a missing person, often a minor, or to help identify a person who is unable to identify themselves.

Purpose

Yellow Notices are issued at the request of a member country that has opened a missing-person investigation. They are most commonly used for missing minors, but also for adults who cannot be located.

Difference from Red Notice

A Yellow Notice is not a request for arrest. It is purely informational, asking police and the public worldwide to help identify or locate the subject.

Data published

The public extract usually includes photo, physical description, last known location and circumstances of disappearance.
